Getting lost in the Redwoods

Kat and I had been wanting to visit the Redwoods of Northern California for some time. So after our wedding we took a trip up to San Francisco. After a few days of exploring the city we drove north to the Redwoods. We had seen images of the area in books and from friends and knew the area was magical. But it was only until after we spent time walking amongst them did we truly understand how massive and magical this area of California is. It sounds cliché but the images truly do not do the area justice.

We had a blast in our secluded little cottage along the coast. The area had some great small towns with great food and really nice people. We had a blast exploring various parks, beaches and of course the Redwoods.

We enjoyed our time so much. We are already planning another trip there to spend more time as there is still so much to explore in the area. Below are some of the images from our trip.
