The Geddy League
Every year since 2008 or so, I’ve been a part of a NFL Fantasy Football League with some coworkers. Over the years, some of the names have changed and all of us have found new jobs at different companies. Regardless, this group of awesome people get together every year in August to draft our teams for the season.
Over the last many years, it has shifted to not even be about football, the NFL or even the league anymore. It’s more about catching up and relaxing with good people and enjoying a few (sometimes many) beers. For a lot of us, it’s the only time we see each other during the year; let alone be together in one location. Each draft is a blast and I always look forward to those few hours of the year.
