Returning to our Special Place

For our wedding anniversary, we made the trip back to the Big Sur / Pacific Grove area. This is the area we spent time in after I proposed to Kat. Because of the pandemic, we’ve not been back to this area for a few years. It was nice returning to the area, visiting familiar beaches, scenic drives. We even made it a point to stay at the same little hotel we did on that proposal weekend. Rishi remembered us and even gave us a special little gift.

For the next few days we continued to explore the areas that we weren’t able to see on our last trip. We enjoyed a few book stores, eateries and experienced a few new drives.

One place that we wanted to revisit was the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It’s such an enchanting place full of mystery and knowledge. The world underwater is so fascinating with all the different life and habitats. It’s fascinating to see what the team in the area has and continues to discover below us. We spent the whole day there taking it all in. It is such a wonderful place. I’m sure the next time we visit, the aquarium will be on our to-do list yet again.
